Your financial data stays on your computer, unless you sync it

Everything you put into Groschen (accounts, transactions, categories, budgets, imported statements, spreadsheets) is stored on your own computer. It is never sent to Coreplix Studios or anyone else, with one exception you choose: an account you switch to Sync with my Coreplix account.

A synced account is kept on our server too, so it's the same on your other computers and on the computers of anyone you share it with. On the server it's stored encrypted, only you and the people you share it with can get it, and you can stop syncing at any time, which removes it from the server. Accounts you don't sync never leave your computer.

What we do keep

• Your account: your name, email address, and your password in a scrambled form that can't be turned back into the password.
• Sign-ins: your computer's name, and when you last opened each app and which version it was.
• Usage (if "Share usage stats" is on in the app): when the app is open and in use, so we can see how much it's used. You can switch this off at any time.
• Our website (coreplixstudios.co.uk) has its own privacy page: coreplixstudios.co.uk/privacy.html.
• Like any website, our server sees your internet (IP) address when the app connects, to send it a reply.

Why

To let you sign in, keep invite-only access to the people we've invited, deliver updates, and understand how the apps are used so we can improve them. We don't sell or share this information, and there are no adverts or third-party trackers.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you, or to close your account, at any time by contacting Coreplix Studios. Deleting your account doesn't touch the data on your computer.

The data is stored on a server in the EU, run by Coreplix Studios.
